Trump Treating the EU as a Puppet | Europe’s Rising Empire
The 2025 National Security Strategy: Trump, the EU, and the "Sovereign Nation" Delusion
This is part three of the National Security Strategy (NSS) series issued by Donald Trump on the European Union. And I'm going to now read the next phase. And this gets really juicy.
The Nation State vs. the Federalist Reality
American diplomacy should continue to stand up for "genuine democracy." Right there, that’s a loaded statement. He's basically saying that the European Union does not represent genuine democracy. He adds freedom of expression—and he's already stated earlier that there's censorship in the European Union—and "unapologetic celebrations of European nationals' individual character and history."
So he is not for this union. He is for the nation-state. He is not for federalism; he is anti-federalist. He is saying the nation-state should be the emphasis. But he's too late. Maybe this could have been proposed 30 years ago, but the European Union has been evolving along federalist aims and a federalist trajectory.
"Patriots for Europe" and the Minority Influence
America encourages its political allies in Europe to promote this "revival of spirit"—i.e., the nation-state—and the growing influence of "patriotic" European parties.
The problem is that the European Union of today is past this. It’s an entity that is an empire, federalist in character. What a good strategy would have been is: How does the United States now deal with this New Europe? The views of these strong conservatives are currently in a minority. While the Mattei Plan (Giorgia Meloni's plan for Africa) is a major stride, it’s a benefit from a policy perspective, not the perspective Trump is talking about here.
The Hubris of "Correcting" Europe’s Trajectory
Our goal, according to the NSS, should be to "help Europe correct its current trajectory." Oh my goodness, this is loaded. This is U.S. hubris. The United States as the policeman, telling Europe how to do it.
The United States hasn't learned that the world order has shifted. We're in a multi-polar order of empires, a term Guy Verhofstadt—former Belgian Prime Minister—used back in 2009.
The Prophetic Singularity and Fractal Mathematics
Europe is on its way to becoming stronger than the United States. This aligns with the prophetic. At some point, I'm going to give you fractal mathematics in geopolitics and the singularity that leads to a new birth—the singularity in mathematics that comes with Armageddon.
The U.S. needs to deal with Europe where it is today, not the Europe of nation-states of yesterday. This Europe is going to overtake the United States. I cannot emphasize enough how shocked I am by the ignorance regarding the European Union in this national security strategy.
Stay Tuned for Part Four Be sure to check out my book on Donald Trump and Bible Prophecy, because this strategy is going to strain U.S.-Europe relations and cause them to feel isolated from their ally. We need serious changes fast.
