The next term is “CORDON SANITAIRE
A cordon sanitaire is a French phrase meaning "sanitary line" that refers to a guarded barrier or restriction used to prevent the spread of something harmful, such as a disease, a hostile foreign influence, or an unwanted political party.
in EU speak it describes the informal or formal agreement among mainstream political parties to isolate and exclude extremist, radical, or anti-system factions from forming coalitions, holding key parliamentary chairmanships, or exercising legislative influence. Legally speaking, the European Union does not use the cordon sanitaire as a hard, written law; rather, it operates as an informal political custom and procedural mechanism within the European Parliament. Because a cordon sainitaire relies on voting blocks rather than legal articles it is labeled as undemocratic. It was used to de empower the Patriots group’s PresidentJordan Bardella in the EU Parliament to hold any role in powerful EU Parliament Committees.
