Trump vs von der Leyen: Explosive UN Gaza Showdown
A Line in the Sand: The Trump vs. Von der Leyen UN Standoff
The Mexican Standoff: A Western Duel at the United Nations
Now this. Did Ursula Vanderion just draw a line in the sand at the UN? Is this a westernstyle duel, a Mexican standoff? You what you're about to see is definitely all of that. And there is now a line drawn down the middle of the West when it comes to Middle East policy. First, we're going to take a listen to what Ursula Vanderion had to say at the UN, which diametrically opposes what Donald Trump stated. And then we're going to dissect this. And you're going to see exactly what I am talking about. When the night is darkest, we must hold fast to our compass. And our compass is the two-state solution. So, our compass is the two-state solution.
The Contrast: Trump on Unilateral Recognition and Hostages
Let's contrast that with what US President Donald Trump had to say. Also been deeply engaged in seeking a ceasefire in Gaza. Have to get that done. Have to get it done. Unfortunately, Hamas has repeatedly rejected reasonable offers to make peace.
Psychological Stagecraft: The Meaning Behind the Coral Dress
Ursula Vanderion comes on and her first words out of her mouth is that we endorse and believe in the two-state solution. So, let's take another peek at what Ursula continued to say. October 7th has opened one of the darkest chapter in history. We all agree that the tragedy in Gaza must stop right now and all hostages released. But ending the war might not be enough if there is no pathway to peace if the prospect of two states is no longer viable. And as we speak, the two-state solution is being undermined and this cannot be. That was her throwing mud at US President Donald Trump. The two-state solution is being undermined. And I wanted you to notice something about Ursula in this clip. Notice how she's dressed. Normally Ursula Vanderion doesn't dress in such bright colors, but it's a color that completely contrasts the green UN marble background and makes her stand out. Look at how much she is standing out in this outfit. this woman who normally wears very lowkey colors, light pink, light blues, and now she's in this bright coral that totally contrasts the green and makes her stand out. Why? This is psychological because she wants to make a statement compared to what US President Donald Trump is wearing.
Geopolitical Dress: The MAGA Tie vs. The Standout Coral
Let's take a quick peek at the statement he's making in his geopolitical dress. We see the red MAGA tie, the dark blue suit, very politician, and the little pin, which is a US flag. So, in their line in the sand, they're both coming out dressed to make a statement. US President Donald Trump. The statement is this is America. This is the American position. Very political. And Ursula is I want to stand out. Our voice needs to be heard because we are drawing a line in the sand with the United States.
Financial Warfare: The €1.6 Billion EU Lifeline
So for the rest of this broadcast, we're going to continue to listen to both of their speeches. And we'll start off with Ursula Vandonderians because the only realistic peace plan is based on two states with a secure Israel, a viable Palestinian state, and the scourge of Hamas removed. Since the beginning of this war, Europe has been the lifeline of the Palestinian Authority. We have put together an unmatched and unprecedented financial package of € 1.6 billion e. But as we as the very survival of the Palestinian Authority is at stake, we must all do more. And this is why we will set up a Palestine donor group. Any future Palestinian state must be viable also from the economic point of view. And this can be achieved also with the support of the Palestinians neighbors. We Europeans will set up a dedicated instrument for Gaza's reconstruction in coordination with other donors efforts.
Fighting Words: Rebuilding Gaza as a Battleground of Policy
Of course, in the end, only the Israelis and the Palestinians can agree on the way forward. But the international community has so much to contribute. We can facilitate. We can rebuild. But most importantly, we can keep hope alive. Thank you very much. A Palestinian donor group so that they can rebuild Gaza. That is those are fighting words. Those are absolutely fighting words because US President Donald Trump was going to also facilitate the rebuilding of Gaza, but with the US position and not with the position of the two-state solution. So, not only did Ursula Vanderion draw a line in the sand between these two western powers, but also is throwing weight behind it so that what their position is may win.
The Hostage Focus: Trump’s Response to the UN
So, now let's listen to what US President Donald Trump had to say and how he continued the rest of his speech on Gaza. The rewards would be too great for Hamas terrorists for their atrocities. This would be a reward for these horrible atrocities, including October 7th, even while they refuse to release the hostages or accept a ceasefire instead of giving to Hamas and giving so much because they've taken so much. They have taken so much. This could have been solved so long ago. But instead of giving in to Hamas's ransom demands, those who want peace should be united with one message. Release the hostages now. Just release the hostages now. Thank you. as we have got to come together and we will come together going to get it done. We have to stop the war in Gaza immediately. We have to stop it. We have to get it done. We have to negotiate immediately. Have to negotiate peace. We got to get the hostages back. We want all 20 back. We don't want two and four. As you know, I got along with Steve Whit and others that helped us, Marco Rubio. We we got most of them back. We were involved in all of them. But I always said the last 20 are going to be the hardest. And that's exactly what happened. We have to get them back now. We don't want to get back two and then another two and then one and then three. Have this process. No, we want them all back. And we want the actually 38 dead bodies back, too. Those parents came to me and they want them back. And they want them back very quickly and very badly as though they were alive. They want them. They want them every bit as much as if their son or daughter were alive.
The UN Imbalance: 173 Resolutions Against Israel
Notice US President Trump does not speak of the two-state solution. He's already spoken against the two-state solution in the beginning of his talk, but his focus is on the hostages and getting the rest of the hostages back as well as ending the war. very very different speech from Ursula Vanderlion's where she basically came out and put weight behind the European Union nations that are coming out and recognizing Palestine as a state and also throwing money behind it. Whereas the US is opposed to the two-state solution, sees it as a security risk and also I have talked about this in my book Israel the key to the west and why Israel is vital for US and European Union interests. and it's all in my book as to why the European Union would be shooting itself in the foot by going forward with the two-state solution and why it's in US security interests as well as European Union security interests. Why the two-state solution would jeopardize both the geoeconomic and the geopolitical.
Data from UN Watch: Exposing the Disproportionate Focus
I've got a very key piece of information about the UN itself and this is from UN watch and it talks about the imbalance that's at the UN and the disproportionate focus on Israel. If we look at the general assembly, these latest actions are not a huge surprise because it's part of a pattern. UN watch will be releasing data this week which we compiled over 10 years from 2015 to 2025 and some of it is already on our website the UN watch database UN watch database and it counts how many resolutions have been adopted on the various countries. So if you look at some of the world's worst abusers of human rights, if you look at China, which has 1/5if of the world's population, 1.5 billion people who have zero freedom of speech, zero freedom of religion, zero freedom of assembly, a million Muslim wiggers are in camps. What has the General Assembly done on China? Zero. There has not been a single resolution adopted on China in the past 10 years. Not crushing Buddhist temples in Tibet. Extinguishing democracy in Hong Kong. Rounding up human rights lawyers, throwing them in prison. zero resolutions. The Cuban communist regime throws teenagers in prison. Zero resolutions. Qatar has slave labor.
Conclusion: An Organization in Need of Revamping
This is the Parliament of the United Nations and sadly this is the outcome. Well, he just said it and he said it pretty clearly. So, it goes to show you the political imbalance that's in the UN. And it's no surprise that the rest of Donald Trump's speech or the the part that focused on the UN, which seemed to have many people up in arms, it's no surprise that he has the view or the United States has a very negative view about the United Nations because it is so imbalanced. It's definitely an organization that has to be revamped. There's no doubt about it. But in the meantime, this speech between Ursula Vanderion and US President Donald Trump was historic because it literally drew a line in the sand in the West when it comes to the policy with Israel and when it comes to two-state policy.
